The Urinary Bladder or Foot Taiyang
The urinary bladder meridian originates from the small intestine meridian. There are 67 points on each side of the urinary bladder meridian. It starts at the inner canthus of the eye at the Jingming, UB 1, and ascends to the Meichong, UB 3, about 1 finger from the hairline and to the Quchai, UB 4, about 1 finger next to the UB 3. From the Quchai, UB4, it goes to the back of the head and descends the neck, body running parallel to the spinal column to reach the back of the knee at the Weizhong, UB 40. The UB 41, Fufen, starts at the shoulder and descends parallel to the first line of the urinary bladder meridian to the buttock and back of the leg to reach the Heyang, UB 55, about 3 fingers down from the UB 40, and then to the ankle and ends at the corner below the nail of the little toe on the outer side at the Zhiyin, UB 67. It connects with the kidney meridian.
