In remote antiquity, ancient Chinese discovered JinLuo system
during their struggle against illness. The history of JinLuo
discovery is too long to find the beginning. According to
historic document, it was earlier even before Chinese created
their written language.
JinLuo
is an essential part of TCM. It forms the basis of all clinical
departments of TCM, especially of acupuncture and moxibustion.
More than 2000 years ago, in the earliest medical classics
NeiJin, the basic structure of JinLuo system was already formalised.
However,
the nature of JinLuo still remains a mystery of human body.
Many questions need explanation. For example, what is the
true nature of the twelve branches of the regular channels?
Does each collateral of the fifteen collaterals has route
along the body with beginning and final points?
The
discovery of the Holographic - JinLuo system in human body
shed a brilliant light on those puzzles above-mentioned.
Based
on extensive research and clinical observation, the author
has discovered a holographic-JinLuo system consists of holographic
points which miniaturing the every channel, every collateral,
every musculature, every channel of eight-extraordinary channels
of the traditional JinLuo system, respectively.
All
the holographic-points are located on the yang side of hands
and feet (Fig. 1,2). When stimulating the holographic-point,
the evoked "de-qi" sensation radiates along the
whole route of that corresponding channel, a very good therapeutically
effect is also obtained at the same time.
It
should be pointed out that, the holographic-JinLuo system
introduce here is foundational different from other microacupuncture
system such as the auricular-acupuncture, the scalp-acupuncture
systems.
The composition of the holographic-JinLuo system is as follow:

Further
research on the holographic-points demonstrates that, each
of the twelve regular channels, in fact, is included within
the rout of the corresponding branches. The fifteen collaterals,
each of them has its own holographic-point (some collateral
has more than one holographic-point). By pressing the point,
the whole rout of that collateral can be traced out. The routs
of the twelve musculatures are not completely along the routs
of their corresponding regular channels. For example, the
musculature of the spleen channel will go to the yin side
of arm, passing the palm, till the middle finger.
The
function of the eight extraordinary channels is mainly to
store and irrigate hence regulate qi and blood of the twelve
regular channels. Since six of the eight do not have their
acu-point, it is difficult to dispel trapped pathogenout of
those channels such as Yinwei and Yangwei, resulting in many
chronic and complicated illnesses. The discovery and application
of the holographic-point therapy opens a new way to dispel
pathogen out of the eight channels. The whole rout and therapeutical
effect evoked by stimulating the holographic-points of the
eight extraordinary channels confirm the statement of NanJin.
As for the twelve skin zones, their holographic-points do
not exist independently. Their function is included either
within the corresponding regular channel or the musculature.
The
author has applied the holographic-JinLuo therapy to many
difficult cases such as ischialgia, stroke, thromboangiitis
obliterans, whiplash, muscular atrophy, parkinsonism, asthma,
arthritis, etc.. The therapeutical effects are powerful in
terms of opening the blockage of channel, improving micro-circulation,
creating a "qi-gong" condition during the treatment.
The
discovery of the holographic-JinLuo system has great and far-reaching
significance on the future development of TCM. First of all,
as the miniature of JinLuo system, it uncovers a new dimension
of JinLuo. It riches our knowledge about JinLuo, offer a new
clue to find the nature of JinLuo.
Secondly,
it has great potential clinical value. The acupoints we used
today mostly are limited within fourteen channels (twelve
regular channels plus Renmai and Dumai). The lack of acu-points
in the twelve branches, in the fifteen collatrals, in the
twelve musculatures, in the six of the eight extraordinary
channels, has made difficult for the therapeutical effect
to reach the problem spots. The holographic-points of them
has filled up those gaps, has built up many bridges for us
to reach the problem spots.
Thirdly,
the holographic-JinLuo therapy needs no needling at all. This
advantage, will avoids the risk of cross-contamination, also
make needleless acupuncture possible in the clinic.
